TED NewsDesk, Greater Noida: In an ambitious collaboration between the tech giant Dassault Systèmes and Shiv Nadar university based in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the Shiv Nadar University-Dassault Systèmes Centre for Excellence (SDC) has been set up. The Centre will serve as a research, innovation and design based establishment for the collective.

Besides, it will also work towards improving entrepreneurship, and making multidisciplinary education more productive and efficacious, as per the University’s communique.

The Managing Director of India, Dassault Systèmes, Deepak NG said,

“As a company, we are committed to inspire, nurture and develop the workforce of the future in India in technologies that matter in the domain of manufacturing, infrastructure and life sciences.”

Additionally,

“Tomorrow’s innovations in these sectors will be based on the user experience and therefore design thinking in today’s engineers keeping the human experience at the centre is critical,” said Deepak.

As the economic sector is growing exponentially, there is a dire need for students to become more efficient in upgrading products and services. It will help them become better prepared for any potential opportunities in the future. The Vice-Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University, Rupamanjari Ghosh added that the SDC would focus on cultivating research and development to come up with tenable innovations in the field of technological advances.

Such a collaboration is bound to help the country move forward towards joining the global community of technological research and development. It runs parallel to the government’s plan of putting India on the map of truly global countries, exposing the students with brand new international innovative ideas resulting in their overall growth.
