CBSE class X students yet to receive their marksheets

TED NewsDesk, Mumbai: It has been more than three months since the results for Class X CBSE have arrived and the students are yet to receive their physical mark sheets for the same. Apart from the mark sheets, the students have also not received their migration certificates. Since many of the students have begun applying in junior colleges for further studies, their school principals are concerned that it will be a problem when the colleges start taking admissions.

According to a Principal of a CBSE affiliated school from Navi Mumbai, “The Class XII certificates came about 15 days ago, but Class X students are still waiting. Most of them have registered for the FYJC (First Year Junior College) admission process using the soft copy acquired through Digilocker. But, the junior colleges are insisting on the original mark sheet to confirm admission.”

The admissions which were paused after September 9th, as the Supreme Court had put a stay on the Maratha quota, will now restart anytime this week. Almost 6,742 students have applied in the FYJC admission procedure.

According to a top official from the CBSE, the mark sheets have left the Delhi offices and will be received by the students very soon.
