Sets up TV channels for NEET, JEE coaching

Airtel collaborates with Aakash Educational Services

TED NewsDesk, New Delhi: Aakash Educational Services, a well-established coaching institute joined hands with Bharti Airtel DTH under Airtel Digital TV to facilitate JEE and NEET preparations through Television. On Tuesday, the collaborators introduced two full-time TV channels to provide coaching for various entrance tests based on engineering and medical. They launched these coaching channels on the platform of Airtel Digital TV.

Aakash Edu TV-JEE channel is for Joint Entrance Examination while Aakash Edu TV-NEET is for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test preparations.

As per the statement Airtel gave, the channels facilitate a free demo version which will end on October 21. However, they have a paid version which will function once an individual pays Rs 247 for each of these channels every month.

Students looking forward to applying for engineering and medical entrances can seek coaching sessions from their homes amid pandemic. 

“We are delighted to partner with Aakash Institute to offer high-quality Ed-tech content to our 17 million DTH customers across the country in an affordable and simple way, helping millions of aspiring students to realise their dreams of clearing Medical and Engineering entrance exams using high-quality test preparation offered through Aakash EduTV,” said Sunil Taldar, Director, Bharti Airtel-Homes.

The collaboration is a boon for students who are preparing for JEE and NEET tests, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak.
