TED NewsDesk, Bihar: Although Patliputra University opened its portal for Graduation and Post-graduation applications, many students face difficulties in the registration process. The university failed to register several students owing to which they couldn’t fill the form. As a result, the authorities are likely to reopen the registration portal just for two days. Jitendra Kumar, Registrar, Patliputra University, released a notice for the same.
The university will open the registration website on October 17th and 18th for students applying to UG and PG (all courses) to register their names. The registration charge for UG courses for the Bihar Board students is Rs. 311, and migration fees are Rs 150. The fees for students who are already a part of the university and are willing to apply for PG regular course is Rs 261. Applicants belonging to SC and ST category and girl applicants will have to pay Rs 461 for standard or professional programs. Besides, the students will have to pay an additional sum of Rs 500 as the penalty for delayed registration. The university is likely to give relaxation to the candidates.
The Patliputra University students can fill their examination forms concerning professional courses from October 17. Prof. BK Mangalam, Media Incharge, informed that the students from professional disciplines could fill their exam forms between 17 and 21 of this month. Some of the courses are Paramedical Course, Bachelor of Library Science (BEALIS), and Master of Library Science (AMLIS) courses. For the academic session 2019-20, the AMLIS course costs Rs 2120, while the BEALIS course has Rs. 1950 as its fee.
With the current situation due to Coronavirus and lockdown, opening the website will ease the willing students who could not register before.
