TED NewsDesk, New Delhi: University Grants Commission is set to open more than 100 new Massive Open Online Courses on both undergraduate and graduate levels from the next academic session. The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) will make 78 undergraduate and 46 postgraduate courses available on the government educational platform SWAYAM at www.swayam.gov.in

The dates and other details can be found on the government portal. The list of total UG and PG courses is also available on the website.

Any student will be able to avail the benefits of transferring the credits for any of the open online courses. These courses will be profitable to those in academia as well as working professionals.

These courses are not only easily available to the students but also hold good ground in terms of quality. In the year 2019, six of the online courses available on SWAYAM were included in the Class Central’s list of 30 best online courses.

The courses on the list were digital marketing, animations, academic writing, python for data science, early child care and education, and mathematical economics.

These courses are highly beneficial to people of varied professional backgrounds, hence helping them in making career gains without too much hassle.
