TED NewsDesk, New Delhi: National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and its subsidiary, Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC) have launched various professional and academic courses. This initiative will take place in collaboration with an online education platform called DigiVidyapeeth.
As per an agreement between MESC and DigiVidyapeeth, the online courses will be created to provide skilling resources to students and professionals according to the requirements of the industry.
According to MESC CEO Mohit Soni, “Courses have been developed in the field of digital media marketing and mobile journalism to enhance the skills of professionals and will train them in line with the latest technological advances. Later, new courses will be developed for other sectors too.”
DigiVidyapeeth’s Managing Director, Pradeep Khatri added, “The e-platform engaged in providing online professional certificate courses has developed solutions to the new challenges which will be faced by students in the changing post-Covid scenarios. ”
He further elaborated that the initiative will likely provide huge support to the Skill India Mission and Digital India Mission, both are programmes run by the Union government. These courses will provide great support to those looking to upgrade their skills and further their careers.
