TED NewsDesk, New Delhi: Dell Technologies, in collaboration with NITI Aayog, introduces Student Internship Program 2.0 after the success of its first version- ‘Student Internship Program (SIP) 1.0. The company is looking forward to assisting students in establishing their careers by transforming them from innovators to entrepreneurs. Besides, it also aims at boosting its relationship with NITI Aayog. As a part of the internship program, the eight teams of students under ‘Student Entrepreneurship Program (SEP) 2.0’ will receive training for 10-days. These teams are not only the recipients of Students Entrepreneurship Program (SEP) 2.0 but also the most successful teams of Atal Tinkering Marathon 2018. Dell Technologies launched SEP 2.0 at the beginning of 2020. The Dell Technologies aims at developing a future workforce with such programs. Under the same, SIM focuses on offering the students a practical and career-driven understanding to boost their self-esteem. It also plans to support ethical business practices as per the profession. Under the mentoring, the students will receive modified product viability along with setting up Unique Selling Point (USPs) with the help of recommendations from professionals at Dell Technologies. The students will undergo several sessions like cognizant communication in entrepreneurship to Design Thinking, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Both the students and their mentors will appear for the testing process. The entrepreneurs of SEP 1.0 will also provide an experiential sharing session for the students.

Further, the mentoring scheme will also concentrate on the financial fields of a start-up to deliver ideas on building an organisation. Students can gain an improved understanding of production and supply chain management by taking an online tour of the manufacturing industry. The entire internship program will provide them with a clearer insight into a corporate field comprising investments and patents. It will increase their confidence and motivate them to build quality products.
