December 14, 2020.

TED NewsDesk, New Delhi: The Union Minister of Education, Pokhriyal has invited teachers across India for an online interaction to be held on December 17th. This will be the second interaction with the teachers, the first one was held regarding the JEE Main exam and the changes brought about in their pattern. The students also received the good news of an increase in the number of attempts for JEE Main from two to four from the coming year.

Usually, Pokhriyal included questions from everyone concerned and tries to answer them as much as possible in his live sessions. In response to one of the questions answered by a student, he addressed further syllabus cuts, saying that such a decision can take place in the future keeping in mind the needs of the students.

He had also said that there is no need to follow the timetable set before the pandemic and that it can be postponed because of the pandemic.

He also talked about holding an alternative to the practical exams for students since there have been no physical classes regarding the same.
